Membership is open to both organizations and individuals. Organizations or groups are eligible if they conduct their regular activities within Northumberland County. Individual membership is open to any resident of Northumberland County over the age of 16. The Board of Directors is a group of volunteers who donate their time to help Transition House assist individuals throughout Northumberland County. Individuals interested in volunteering their time as a Board Member, please contact Transition House.
Staff and volunteers assist residents with identifying their needs, supports are put in place and goals are made. A regular house schedule provides time for working on action plans, residents planning meetings and workshops that are provided by community agencies.
Transition House operates with community support of faith groups, retail merchants, social service agencies, service clubs and concerned individuals. Volunteers are always welcome, as are donations of funds, goods or services.
